Kirkwood Historical Society
This year we missed Keith and Phebe Williams at our 4th of July Kirkwood Mafia party so we don't have Keith's grand digital photos as we did last year. What we do have instead are the current proposed revisions to the Society Bylaws.
We intend to have a vote on all the proposed changes as a group in our December meeting and the board and the Bylaws committee is making every effort to insure that each member has ample time to read the proposed change and input his or her ideas.
Attached is the Bylaw revision file as of 28 September.
Opps! As cleverly as we have illustrated the proposed changes in color and italics et al, none of that came over in the posting to the internet. If you want a copy of the changes in color so you can really get the sense for the changes, call Jack Rutter at 821-2231 or Mike Kearney at 835-9276.

We are proud to announce that Michael C. Kearney was named Business Person of the Year 2001 by the Kirkwood Chamber of Commerce. Here, Mike receives the award from 2000 recipient Bill Combs and State Representative Patricia K. Secrest, #93. Mike gave a wonderful acceptance speech which you can see here in Quicktime format. It takes a moment to load up as it's 4.7 MB, but we think you'll enjoy it.
